What is Electional Astrology?
The stars have picked us, but how often do we get to pick our own stars? Electional astrology allows us to scan the energetic field of transits to handpick opportune times that fit with YOUR VISION of what you wish to create in this world. This form of astrology is future oriented. We hone in on your intention for your new endeavor, to pick stars that most closely align with your intention. Electional astrology is best utilised for new beginnings such as: weddings, businesses, signing legal documents, or any action that creates a foundation for a new venture. It can also be used casually for planning travels, planning events, or any other life happening that deserves a special date & time.
Cassiopeia loves to use the principles of opportune timing in her day to day life. She sees the astrological chart of the moment the same way she sees a clock: a way to orient oneself to our surroundings. Astrological transits are essential energetic "weather patterns". We want to pick suitable weather for our adventures in this world. Her knowledge of other ancient timing techniques adds unique ways of seeing yourself within space and time and acting accordingly.
Cassiopeia Christos
The Sedona Astrology Club was founded in 2022 by Cassiopeia Christos in a desire to open up local education in the field of astrology. She has hosted dozens of monthly meetings featuring rotating speakers, teaching on topics across the field of research and practice. Cassiopeia is an astrology event organiser in Sedona, Arizona. She also works for Gregory Nalbandian at the annual Northwest Astrological Conference in Seattle, WA.
Cassiopeia studied with Annie Botticelli at the Luminous Life Multiversity for modern western astrology. She most highly recommends the Professional Astrologer course for anyone at the beginning of their astrological journey:

Cassiopeia is a student of Hellenistic Astrology with Chris Brennan: founder of the Astrology School, & the Astrology Podcast, former President of the Association for Young Astrologers, former Research Director of the National Council of Geocosmic Research, and former board member of Kepler College.

About the Sedona Astrology Club
This space is intended to be a blank canvas, open to co-creation and inspiration. The mission is to create in-person connection amongst practicing astrologers, and a space for local learning for all who love astrology. We exist to support education and personal growth for astrologers of all levels, as well as supporting the development and research of our incredible field! The Sedona Astrology Club is an empowering space, inclusive of all astrological traditions.
The Sedona Astrology Club meets twice a month, once for a casual event where members can get to know one another and talk about astrology informally. The other monthly event is our rotating guest speak series, where we have different local astrologers present on topics of their choice and passion. This is for our group's shared education, but also provides a platform for astrologers who wish to share and build community, as well as an opportunity for astrologers who wish to practice their public speaking/teaching skills in a welcoming environment.
